Merantzas Dimitris

Dimitris Merantzas was born in Athens in 1967, where he currently lives and works.In 1988 graduates, as Director of Photography, from Lycourgos Stavrakos’ Film and Television School. In 1990 he receives the Fantastic Film Award for directing ‘’Doors’’, at Drama Short Film Festival. In 1992 he was accepted unanimously as a member of the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece. In 2012 he becomes a member of the art group Provo Principles.His work is included in the State Museum of Contemporary Art, The American College of Greece, Municipal Art Gallery of Chania, Boutaris Wine Company, Dakis Joannou Collection and Gregory Papadimitriou Collection.
